The Fort Worth Community Arts Center is proud to announce a Shop Small Saturday event. Works by local artists and artisans will be for sale to the public for a special one day event on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, November 28 from 10AM to 4PM. Pottery, weaving, jewelry, woodwork, handmade soap, cards, small paintings, knitting and steampunk are just some of the items available.
Behind every small business there’s a story worth knowing. Small Business plays a big role in making our community great!

Bitz N Pieces will present their Holiday Fashion and Art showcase in the Front Gallery of the Arts Center 7-10pm. Bitz n’ Pieces was created as a pop-up jewelry and handbag shop in 2006. The business has now is committed to the evolution of your unique, personal, and home style. Our products and services are selected based on their ability to help our clients build a look that simply and uniquely defines “their” style.
ARTshop, a small gift shop comprised of unique one of kind artist-made pieces in the Arts Center. Come in to find original jewelry, ceramics, glass, woodwork, metalwork, wearable art, handmade prints and cards, photography and other fine art and craft works that make perfect gifts for any occasion.

FWCAC is calling for artworks on or of paper or paper products that may be any size, but MUST fit in a 9 x 12 envelope. Folded, 3D or multi-part OK. Unmatted, unframed photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, cast or folded paper or digital prints OK (other materials may be attached; canvasboard or canvaspaper is OK,). Original artworks only. All work shown – no jury. All works for sale for $100; Artist gets 75%. Include a SASE for returns. Open to all artists – no age or geographical restrictions. The TAC Professional Review is an opportunity for artists to show their work to curators, gallery directors and art writers in order to be critiqued and given constructive feedback on their art and presentation. The arts professional/s will be available for 20-minute individual critiques/reviews for artists. These reviews are available to paid-up/current Texas Artists Coalition members only. Each TAC member may only sign up for one review. Payment of $27 MUST accompany sign-up. Memberships or renewals may be paid for at the same time. See the link here for more information and rules.
