BALLET FRONTIER OF TEXAS was established in 2009. Dedicated to providing a powerful cultural experience, the company encompasses an organic mix of artistic quality, young talent and world-class choreography. Led by Artistic Director, Taiwan-born Chung-Lin Tsengand Artistic Advisor Enrica Tseng, both nationally recognized dancers, The company provides proficient training and career building opportunities for aspiring young dancers who participate in auditions, rehearsals and performances alongside top dance professionals. Annual performances include The Nutcracker as well as a new and unique production each spring. Special performances and programs are offered to local schools and are essential to Ballet Frontier’s commitment to community outreach. |

TAC ![]() Miksang Contemplative Photography Workshop Level 1
May 16 & 17, 2014 9am – 4pm/3pmThis school of contemplative photography brings together the art of photography and the discipline of meditation. TAC members $125/non-members $150. Denise Bossarte, instructor. Equipment needed: any camera, even point and shoot, with fresh batteries and storage card. No photography experience necessary.
Artist Trading Card Workshop May 30, 2015; 11 – 1pm Artist Trading Cards are tiny, business-sized pieces of art that have your contact information on the back. There will be a “Speed-Dating” session on June 16 between Artists and Patrons of Art. The ATC workshop will allow you to prepare small works of art to exchange with an art patron, who will, in turn give you their contact information to add to your mailing list. Even if you cannot attend the June event, you are still welcome to come to the workshop. $10, open to all.
The Texas Artists Coalition is a membership program designed to offer benefits for artists in the North Texas community. The mission of the TAC is to support the career development of artists, whether they are emerging or established, amateur or professional. Programs of the TAC are supported by the Arts Council of Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Community Arts Center and a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts.
