The Art of Birth sponsored by Tarrant County Birth Network
The Art of Birth is mixed media art show, consisting of over 35 artists, which showcase subjects surrounding the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods.MOREFriends, Lovers, and ArtistsThis exhibit consists of various artworks by four couples. These four couples, through photography and painting, capture significant images in which they find inspiration. MORE

Focus Gallery One: History Painting by Sarah Leflar

The exhibit is a series of wooden panels with finishes that suggest agitation, depth, darkness and intelligence that reflect the iconographic tradition of abstract expressionism and gestural painting. However, they result from wasteful and environmentally-irresponsible industrial processes. MORE

Through Rendition, Rachel Zollinger looks at the spectrum of human progression through the derivation of natural resources, specifically copper. MORE

Selling Art Through Social Media 2.0

This 2-hour workshop is a follow-up for those who have taken the previous workshops or have already been using social media to sell art and would like more input or direction. Matt Miller will advise on your next steps. $25 for members/$30 for non-members. Matt Miller Website

Painting the Figure in Light: High Key Portraits with Julie Wende

Emphasis on value studies, composition/design, drawing, and working from photos.  Julie has studied extensively with Peggi Kroll-Roberts and incorporates many of her methods in this intensive workshop.  Be prepared to work and not necessarily go away with a finished painting.
