August 29,2016) Dallas, TX – The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery (Room B120) at El Centro College presents: “Utopia: Impossible States” from September 6 – 30. A reception will be held Thursday, September 8 from 2-4 p.m., with performances by Dennis Gonzalez and Danielle Georgiou.
This group exhibition of artists will address utopian “impossible states” of ideal form, technology, and conceptualization, held in conjunction with the Freefall Festival, a series of art, poetry, film, and lecture events taking place this fall in Dallas. A diverse group of artists, including photographers Marilyn Waligore and Carlo Zinzi, sculptors Ryder Richards and Rachel Muldez, mixed media artists Dwayne Carter and Randy Guthmiller, and installation artist Danielle Georgiou will exhibit work in this show, the first in a series of events for the new Dallas-based festival.
