The Richardson Civic Art Society will be holding its next program meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony for the 50 Plus Show that is on display through April 24th on the third floor of the Richardson Public Library.
Also at this meeting in the library’s basement meeting room, local artist Bonny Leibowitz will be demonstrating her technique in painting with encaustic wax. Bonny studied at Temple University, worked in a Dallas gallery, and has held solo shows of her work in major cities across the country. She is the owner of The Bonny Studio and The Encaustic Center in Richardson, Texas were she and fellow instructors teach lessons and hold workshops on encaustic wax painting. RCAS meets in the Richardson Public Library basement on third Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Visitors may attend meetings at no charge. Anyone is welcome to sign up for membership.
