Essential Elements opening March 7

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is proud to present “Essential Elements,” a collection of figurative and abstract works created by 7 artists currently residing in Texas: cruator and artist, J. Salvador Lopez (San Antonio/Dallas), Margaret Craig (San Antonio), Christopher J. Hernandez (San Antonio), Dan Maldonado (San Antonio), Brian Johnson (Austin), Victoria West (Dallas), and Juan J. Hernandez (Dallas). The exhibit examines the relationship between the innocence of physical appearance, spiritual ambiguity and the intersection of these human attributes with technology.

“Essential Elements” opens Friday, March 7th. An artists’ reception will be held on March 14, from 7pm-9pm. Exhibit and recpetion are free and open to the public.

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is located at 223 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75208. Current hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
