Keller Public Arts is pleased to invite the community to Keller Town Hall for “Double Exposure”, the photographic expertise of Ray Maines, and Bruce Rosenstiel.
Ray Maines is a retired commercial photographer, who after years in the public photographic arena has returned to his roots of fine art photography. He works “primarily in the digital format, both black and white and color. While his current work is digital, he also works from film negatives which were produced prior to the time of his conversion to digital imaging.
“Having begun his journey as a birder, Bruce Rosenstiel was drawn to photography by his fascination with wildlife and world cultures. He enjoys photographing all manner of flora and fauna to reveal the extraordinary, and often unseen, diversity and beauty of nature.” Through his love of bird watching, he developed the patience to take in his surroundings and reflect on all of the details around him. It is only natural that the relevance of nature would bring him to capturing the human experience around the world.
Enjoy the photographic journey of these gentlemen as they share their personal visions as seen through the camera lens, August 3 – 26, 2016; Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Be on hand for an Evening with the Artists, Thursday, August 11 from 7 to 9 pm, all are welcome to meet Mr. Maines and Mr. Rosenstiel, share refreshments, conversation and especially the beautiful, thought provoking photography on display.
