Deep Ellum Community Association Launches “Deep Ellum Second Saturday” – Saturday, September 12, 2015

The Deep Ellum Community Association kicks off the Fall gallery season on Saturday, September 12, with the launch of “Deep Ellum Second Saturday“, a new, monthly spotlight on neighborhood street art and the galleries of Deep Ellum and Exposition Park.

Activities include:

Gallery Walk – The Deep Ellum Gallery Walk returns for the Fall gallery season with this free, self-guided tour of neighborhood galleries that offers a tantalizing day of world-class art for every style and budget. Deep Ellum Mural Tour

Mural Tours – Join muralist and Deep Ellum historian Frank Campagna for our first-ever, walking tour of the area’s legendary street art. Tours embark at 2:00pm and 4:00pm from 2650-B Main St. Tickets are $10/person and are available at

Target Second Saturday at Latino Cultural Center – Kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with a day-long, free community festival featuring ballet folklorico, musical presentations, and artisanal arts and crafts workshops for the whole family, including the Grito at the end of the festival in celebration of Mexican Independence Day.
