EAT YOUR ART OUT
A Mystery Destination Dinner & Scholarship and Educational Programs Fundraiser
Saturday, May 2, 6:30-10:00 pm
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Back by Popular Demand! Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas invites you to its highly successful fundraiser, EAT YOUR ART OUT, on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Add a little mystery to your weekend with CADD’s fourth annual mystery dinner! The evening promises to be a unique, fun and adventurous experience. Proceeds from this event fund the CADD Scholarship to a graduating senior from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and other CADD Educational Programs. This is innovative fundraising at a great price!
EAT YOUR ART OUT includes cocktails and dinner at a mystery destination from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dinner destinations differ but may include a collector’s home, an artist’s studio, a CADD member gallery, or another artistic, yet unknown location in Dallas. Immediately following dinner, guests from all mystery locations will join up at 500X Gallery in Exposition Park at 9:00 p.m. for the After Party. Guests can share their mystery experience, dance to music, view the 500X exhibition, have a chance to win the RAFFLE prizes, and have Ian Cole of FACES take your photo!
TICKETS: Tickets are $100 per person and will be on sale through April 29th. To prevent dinner partners from being assigned a different venue, buyers MUST PURCHASE A PAIR OF TICKETS rather than 2 individual tickets. Participants must provide their contact information (this is mandatory) upon registration so that we can notify guests regarding their mystery destination. Seating is limited and varies at each location. Purchase tickets by April 25th for Raffle opportunities – see below.
HOW IT WORKS: On Thursday, April 30th, all ticket holders will be contacted with their Mystery Dinner location. Cocktails will begin PROMPTLY at 6:30 at your location followed by dinner.
Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas (CADD) is a non-profit membership organization of galleries formed in 2006 for the purpose of promoting the advancement of contemporary art on all levels. Members are committed to represent the highest standards of contemporary art, while recognizing the importance of integrity and responsibility in working with artists, collectors, museum professionals, and the cultural community of Dallas.
Each year CADD offers a Scholarship to a graduating high school senior from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a Fine Arts degree at an accredited university or art institute. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, equipment, travel, and/or supplies assisting the student in their academic endeavors. Proceeds from CADD events assists with the CADD Scholarship and CADD Educational Programs.
