Art enthusiasts are looking forward to an evening of fun when Artists Enclave of Denton County puts on its second annual Fundango, 5:30-8 p.m., August 20 at Mulberry Street Cantina, 110 West Mulberry Street.
Frenchy’s Lawn Services and Mulberry Street Cantina join premier sponsor AccessBank Texas in supporting Fundango Texas Style. Guests will enjoy barbecue ribs and chicken with all the fixin’s and one complementary beverage as they listen to the live music of talented composer and performer, Matt Grigsby.
Guests can also learn some fancy moves for the Texas two-step from professional dancer, Devin Crotts and compete for the Best Dressed Texan award, selected by the audience.
Kids and adults alike can take part in an old-fashioned cake walk, featuring tasty treats from some of Denton’s best bakers.
Throughout the evening, guests can watch the process of art being made, as Artists Enclave painters work on a single canvas that will become part of a live auction of outstanding Texas and Denton County items.
Tickets in advance are available at artistsenclavedenton.com/events/fundango through Sunday, August 18. Prices include barbecue dinner and complementary beverage.
