ART HOUSE DALLAS TURNS FIVE
Art House Dallas, an arts non-profit serving Dallas and Fort Worth, is celebrating its Five Year Anniversary on October 22, 2015 at Life in Deep Ellum. Doors, drinks and dessert (included) start at 7:00pm, show starts at 8:00pm. The night is called: IMAGINE EVERYONE.
Art House Dallas will be presenting a “songwriters in the round” hosted by Art House America founder, and Grammy-winning Writer/Producer, Charlie Peacock. The night will feature an all-star lineup of incredible songwriters with ties to Art House Dallas including Andrew Ripp, Brooke Waggoner (Nashville Music Awards: Next Big Nashville Emerging Artist) and Matt Wertz (shared stages with Jason Mraz, Gavin Degraw, Matt Nathanson and others).
Additionally, attendees will be treated to a carefully curated pop-up visual art gallery featuring and hosted by local artists from within the Art House Dallas community.
“We’re calling everyone to imagine Dallas as a major cultural capital by being a city that loves not only the arts but also its artists,” says Chairman of the Board, Brad Reeves. Art House Dallas’ mission is to cultivate creativity for the common good and to encourage everyone to lead more imaginative and meaningful lives.
“Art is an integral part of any great city,” says Executive Director, Cary Pierce (also half of Dallas-born acoustic duo, Jackopierce). “And it makes a city ‘good.’ We have amazing facilities in DFW like the Winspear Opera House, Meyerson Symphony Center, The Nasher, The DMA, the list goes on – but very little is being done to cultivate the actual artists (songwriters, writers, visual artists, filmmakers, photographers) that will one-day grace these stages, show their work in these museums and appear on the New York Times bestseller list.”
Beer is provided by Grapevine Craft Brewery
Wine is provided by Weather Pinot Noir and Hanaiali’i Chardonnay
