Ann DeRulle: Four Exhibits

The Kingdom

Ann DeRulle invites you and your friends to view her art currently on display in four different venues, including a solo show and two artist’s receptions coming up the next two Sundays:

1) *** A solo show featuring 25 original paintings of her transformational art, including 15 from my sacred geometry-inspired series and 10 other contemporary pieces that vary from one another and in media.  Enjoy the artist’s reception a week from Sunday, November 9, from 12:15 until 2:00p in the Box-Hawkins Gallery at the Royal Lane Baptist Church.  A majority of these framed pieces are offered for sale as well as additional small matted works, perfect for the forthcoming gift-giving holidays, yourself included.
Located on the northwest corner of Royal Lane and Hillcrest in north Dallas, the Gallery can easily be found on the north side of the church complex in the U-shaped parking lot through the marked door located toward the right inner corner of the “U”.  (This show will hang through December 4; access on Sundays during and immediately after church services and on Wednesdays during the day [knock on the Gallery door if need be] or call the church office at 214-361-2809 for access.)
2) She has three pieces included in the Irving Art Association’s “Collage, Assemblage and Printmaking” group show, the artists’ reception and awards ceremony for which will be held this next Sunday, November 2, from 2:00 until 4:00p.  This gallery is located at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts at 1975 Puritan Drive in Irving (near 183/Airport Freeway and Story Road).
3)  A large archival pigment print on canvas gallery-wrapped of “Transition” is in Teta Smith’s “Reveal 2” show at Teta Smith’s Studio among the many art galleries in the former Valley View Shopping Center in Dallas on LBJ between Preston and Montfort (enter under one of the AMC signs on the south LBJ side or Preston east side).  Her studio is located toward the west end beyond the center midpoint in the mall on the left side as you walk down the west hall from the open center.  This show will be up through the next Midtown Gallery Art Walk on Sat., November 15, from 6:00 until 10:00p.
4)  Four archival pigment prints on canvas are offered until sold at the Lightworkers Sanctuary located at 7336 Main Street in The Colony (north of 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway; zip 75056).  These pieces include “Love”, “Harmony”, “Resurrection” and “Perfect Health”  as well as framed and unframed archival pigment prints on paper of “Love’s Presence”.
