The broad variety of featured artwork will appeal to all art lovers.

Top three juried artists include colored pencil artist Helen Bailey from Allen, photographer Clark Crenshaw from Garland, and wood artist Michael K. Demaline from Florida.

Festival events will include children’s art activities, music and choral performances, hip hop flash mob, artist demonstrations, storytime, art talks, and band performances on the Green stage. Food trucks will be on site with popular food items. Watters Creek’s many restaurants also offer diverse choices and a sit-down eating option. See a full list of restaurants at http://www.watterscreek.com/dine.

The Blue House offers a variety of art classes to children of all ages during summer. All our instructors are artists, and most of them are art teachers in the local schools with lots of teaching experience. The classes are small with a maximum of 12 participants, and therefore teachers can give plenty of individual attention to each student. It also creates a fun learning environment for students as it is easy to get to know each other.
