In its ninth year, the Allen Arts Festival has become a highly-anticipated Mother’s Day weekend tradition in Allen and the north Texas region.  This family-friendly, free, event features many attractions, including; interactive art activities, music, dance and a variety of artistic performances from local groups and entertainment options throughout the day.  This year we will also have a special exhibit at The Blue House Too ArtSpace, Bringing Art To Life – a celebration of our creative community, featuring local artists and raising funds to support the Arts Alliance art education and community outreach programs.

Allen Arts Festival admission, activities and parking are free to the public.  Food and drink are available for purchase from on-site food trucks as well as the wide variety of sit-down restaurants in the beautiful Watters Creek Center.

Proceeds from the festival and art exhibit are distributed back to the community by the Allen Arts Alliance through grants to non-profit art and culture organizations, scholarships to Allen ISD students pursuing art and creative studies, Art Education in the schools and community including; ArtSparks which brings art literacy programs to preschool, special education and elementary school students, and ArtReach which provides art enrichment opportunities for underserved community members.
