VAGF Juried show in the ARTS Gallery of Collin College
(at Spring Creek campus) – Call for Artworks
VAGF is excited to provide members with an opportunity to exhibit their works in a juried art show. The show will be on the display at Spring Creek campus from July 27 through August 17. If interested, send artwork images (include title, medium, dimensions, and price) to firstname.lastname@example.org (put Collin College in the subject line) by Sunday, June 18. Artworks submitted by May 14 will be considered for featuring in promotional materials.
The show will be juried by Dr. Letha Clair Robertson, Art Historian.
Timeline for the show
Submission: Sunday, June 18 (early submission May 14)
Notification of acceptance: July 1
Artworks delivery to the gallery: Thursday, July 20 from 9-5pm or Friday July 21 from 9-3pm
Reception: Thursday, July 27th from 4-7pm
Artworks Pickup: Friday August 18, from 9:00-3:00 pm or Saturday Aug 19 from 9:00-3:00
VAGF will retain 30% commission for all sales generated during the event.
All submitted works should be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame. Saw hook hanging will not be accepted. All works on 1/2” canvases should be framed. All the works on 1”to 2” canvases need to have neatly painted edges if not framed.

The gallery is located on Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Regular gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m-3 p.m., Friday-Saturday.
