Sculpture for All Competition and Exhibition 2015 – 2017
Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches, Texas, is accepting submissions from sculptors for our second Sculpture For All Outdoor Competition and Exhibition. Up to ten works will be selected for a 22-month exhibition in the Arboretum, one of the largest Azalea gardens in the nation. A stipend of up to $1500 will be awarded to each of the artists chosen. Additional cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded
Work must be: Original and created in the last three years. Three-dimensional, suitable for outdoor installation and able to be structurally secured to a concrete pad, capable of withstanding adverse weather conditions, high traffic areas and safe for children. Size Limitations: No work can exceed 15 feet in height or weigh more than 1,000 pounds, due to equipment limitations.
