All artwork must reflect an environmental theme through subject matter or the use of recycled, reused or sustainable materials.
Submissions are accepted through Friday, March 15.
A selection panel reviews the submissions. Artists are informed of results by Tuesday, Mar. 26. Selected artists receive an agreement/waiver form, along with detailed information about delivery of art work to the event.
Artwork is displayed during Learn2Live Green (L2LG) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at The Shops of Legacy. Selected artists or artists’ representatives must stay at the event for the entire duration of the art exhibit.
Artists may sell their work at the event and are required to give a suggested price for each selected piece. L2LG provides an artwork label which includes the artist’s contact information and the asking price. Perspective buyers contact artists directly, and artists receive the entire amount of sale. (L2LG requires no commission agreement.)
Submit one digital image of each piece as an email attachment to email@example.com. Submit up to five pieces. Label each image with your last name and its title (.jpg with a resolution of 1028×768 pixels is preferred). For example, “Smith.1.LitterArt.jpg”
Create a Microsoft Word document with your name, address, phone number(s) and email address at the top of the page. Below your contact information, include an image of each art submission (no larger than 4X5) with the following information for each image: title, medium, year created and size. The file name needs to be formatted as follows: “YourLastName.Contactinfo&Imagelist.doc” (or send as a .pdf file, but use the same labeling format).
