“emoji: show what you feel” – call for art – Frisco Art Gallery – DEADLINE JAN 28

Frisco Arts is hosting an open art exhibition for ages 15 and up. Emoticons are widely used in texting to convey nuances of feelings such as love, goofiness, sadness, anger, fright, and happiness. How do you creatively express your emotions in art? Open to artists, ages 15 and up, working in any media. Pieces must be ready to hang or display, fully compatible with the Arakawa Cable and Rail system.

Submit up to 5 images of your work by January 28 to pprater@friscoarts.org to be considered for the show. If accepted, you will be notified within 48 hours and the drop-off will take place from 12-2PM on Monday, Feb 2. Entry form, release, and fees ($20 for students; $30 for professionals) will be due upon drop-off.
