AMoA BIENNIAL-600: SCULPTURE call for entries


The AMoA (Amarillo Museum of Art) BIENNIAL-600: SCULPTURE will be an exhibition of artworks selected by a distinguished juror from works submitted by artists residing within a 600 mile radius of Amarillo, Texas. The exhibition will be on view August 14 – October 9, 2015.

BIENNIAL-600: SCULPTURE is the sixth in an ongoing series of juried biennial exhibitions exploring specific areas of artistic practice, material, and content. Previous exhibition focuses include Drawing (’05), Clay (‘07), Glass (‘09), Figurative Painting(‘11) and Printmaking (‘13). This year, the AMoA staff and Board of Trustees are excited to offer the museum’s exhibition spaces to artists working in the realm of sculpture.

Artists may submit images of up to three artworks with a maximum of three images of each work. There is no entry fee.

Deadline for Entries: Friday, June 5, 2015 (postmark); Artist Notifications: on or before July 3, 2015; Accepted artworks due at the AMoA: July 31, 2015.
