Professional Art Photography
Fort Wort Community Art Center

August 27, 2016; 10AM – 5PM 
David Wharton, photographer to the best artists in town, will at the FWCAC onSaturday, August 27, 10AM – 5PM.  TAC artists may bring UP TO 5 artworks to be photographed (non-TAC members may sign up for TAC membership on the spot). There will be a charge of $20 per artwork for 2D, and for each view of 3D work. You will receive two sizes of color-corrected and cropped jpg images for each artwork. Images will be ready in 2 weeks. These images will also be appropriate to send to exhibit calls and submissions.

Life Drawing

Fort Worth Community Art Center

Saturday mornings, October 15 – November 19, 2016  
6 sessions
Course description: Life Drawing
This class is aimed at the beginning and intermediate level. Emphasis will be on developing and engaging visual perception to see the human form in terms of unique configuration. Participants learn and practice exercises in gesture, contour, shape, proportion, value, and expression. Some structure and anatomy will be presented. Poses vary in length from the quick study to the more finished drawing. All work is done from the live unclothed model.

Woodcut Workshop
Fort Worth Community Arts Center
Instructor: Junanne Peck
September 17, 2016; 10AM – 4PM

Printing from a drawing carved into wood is the oldest and most straightforward form of printmaking. All aspects of the process will be covered, including drawing on the block, carving your design and printing techniques for making black-and-white and color prints. Open to all levels, and an excellent introduction to printmaking for beginners.

At the end of this workshop, you will have produced your very own one-color woodcut print on paper and fabric. No experience is necessary and the workshop is open to anyone who wants to learn how to carve and print.

Limited to 15 participants. $75 members/$85 non-members. This includes supply fee. junannepeck@mac.com
