Students will learn beginning knot techniques to create a sturdy and stellar looking three-dimensional plant hanger. Taught by fiber artist Analise Minjarez, these beginning knots are the first steps to a continued practice is textile crafts. Using cord, you will create a unique lace plant hanger that includes a succulent, planter, cord, and brass ring.
Weave using found-objects for your loom! Weaving is not confined to looms, learn to make a beautiful woven object d’art on a forked tree branch.
This workshop will go through a reference guide of basic introductory stitches and a weave. Use these learned stitches to embroider on their given designs. During the designs, we will chat about transferring designs onto fabric, as well as what it is like to embroider different materials, leaving with an embroidery kit.

Learning to employ good technique will free your voice. This is the perfect class for those who have always wanted to learn to sing but lack confidence or are already performing, but would like to develop further as a vocalist. Or…maybe you just wanna kill it doing karaoke!!!
