Pushing Pixels: From Pugs to Pandas – Rebecca Collins 

Students will have hands on experience working with the Wacom Intuos drawing tablet.  By the end of the workshop, each student will have a digital painting they can print from home.

Discover the art-making processes to match your natural abilities in this unique immersion in painting. Ideal for complete novice to advanced artist needing a creativity stretch.

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images with little to no previous training.

Artist Books for the Holidays – Sheila Cunningham

Create fun and innovative books that move, pop-out or hold secret messages in this workshop for students of all levels.  You will explore a variety of book structures that can be embellished with artwork and photos.

Fused Glass Holiday Platters – Diane Flynn


Create a platter perfect for the coming holidays! We provide the template, a wide range of glass colors, and the materials to put together a fused and slumped serving piece that will be ready for pickup a few days after the class.

Floating Mosaics – Julie Richey

You may have already mastered the basics of mosaic-making, but have you ever made a mosaic that floats?  Students will create an 8″ diameter glass mosaic orb that will float in a bathtub, swimming pool or fountain.

Encaustics: Sensation Stencils & Collage – Deanna Wood of The Encaustic Center

Incorporate stencils and collage into your encaustic routine. This mini workshop will cover a multitude of ways to add depth, color, pattern, and texture with commercial as well as hand-made stencils.


Saturday, November 15th 12 pm – 3 pm (1 day)


Riveting and Cold Connections – Rebecca Swann

Learn this cold-joining technique to join metal without using a torch. This is a Cold-joining also allows you to incorporate materials that could not be exposed to the heat of soldering such as wood, plastics or your favorite found objects.

Sunday, November 16th 10 am – 6 pm (1 day)


Romantic Wraps Using Collage Techniques – Suzanne Morgan

Make a beautiful small shawl for yourself or a gift for a friend! Participants will learn to work with patterned silk and layers to create wonderful collaged designs then finish the piece with nuno fringes.
