Art Renewal Center “Living Master”, Robert Liberace brings his gifts as an artist and instructor to the DFW area January 11-15, 2016.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: This 5 day drawing and painting workshop will include both demos and one-on-one as well as group instruction using life models. The focus of the workshop will be The Figure in Motion, exploring the expressive movement in classical figure drawing and painting that has inspired artists for centuries. Students will study how various artists from the past used motion to infuse their work with energy, and then will execute their own pictures with the help of live models. Introducing these concepts into drawings and paintings gives the student more breadth and depth of expression when creating original works. Demonstrations will focus on arrangement of the model and on technique.
COST & WHAT IS INCLUDED: The fee for the class is $800.00, which includes 5 days of instruction and all model costs for the 5 days. There is also a $30.00 non-refundable registration fee. Accommodations are NOT included, but registrants will receive recommendations for hotels near the downtown Fort Worth TEXAS ACADEMY OF FIGURATIVE ART gallery and studio.
