Starting your Etsy shop

Caroline Colom Vasquez & Jose Vasquez-Corbalan

Start the morning with Etsy 101 and then stay through the afternoon for this great hands-on practicum.  Get your Etsy store started from building your online shop to learning how to process and complete your first sale. We will cover the entire “back end” of the Etsy system, including shop listings, payment methods, shipping, customer service and communication as well as getting the word out about your new shop. Participants should be artisans, designers or vintage sellers ready to set up their shop. Sellers who already have a shop, but feel like they need to learn the “Etsy system,” are also welcome. Personal laptops/tablets are optional for the afternoon session, and access to personal email accounts will be needed to set up an Etsy account. Please bring a bag lunch. Tuition for this class includes Etsy 101.

Sat., Oct. 19, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Irving Arts Center – Meeting Rooms

Tuition: $175 (Art Connection and Irving Art Association Members: $150)
