Colored Pencil Art Class at McKinney Art House


Come and join us for the new Colored Pencil Class starting in January 2015 at McKinney Art House! This class explores realistic drawing through colored pencils on Friday mornings (starting on January 9) at 10:00am and Saturday afternoons (starting on January 10) at 1:30pm. All skill levels are welcome; beginners and intermediate, and advanced level students will be exploring basic skills or honing their existing skills in expressing their inner artistic voice in a realistic artwork.

Time: Friday 10:00 – 11:30am, or Sat 1:30-3:00pm

Location: McKinney Art House,  502 N. Kentucky St., McKinney, Texas

About the instructor:

Noriko DeWitt is a colored pencil artist who first began her journey in art with oil and acrylic as a teenager. Born in Japan, Noriko spent her youth living overseas where she developed a love and appreciation of global cultures, art and music. Her artwork has been recognized for its attention to detail, realism and creative composition style. She has been actively sharing her knowledge and techniques through online tutorials, encouraging and inspiring fellow artists from around the world. Noriko’s work and tutorials were selected to be featured in Colored Pencil publications by Ann Kullberg, a world-renowned colored pencil artist and pioneer of colored pencil art.
