Celluloid Filmmaking Workshops at Oil and Cotton During OCFF

For the last couple of years, Steve Cossman of Brooklyn’s Mono No Aware (a non-profit organization that puts together avant-garde film events for the community) has traveled down to Texas to teach a handful of workshops during the Oak Cliff Film Festival. This year he will be teaching two such workshops at Oil and Cotton, one on Handmade Cyanotype 16mm Filmmaking, and another on Super 8 Film Making. Cossman is a great teacher and a very knowledgable technician, and students will certainly learn a great deal about working with celluloid.
