Brad Jensen Painting Classes begin April 22

Fort Worth Artist Brad Jensen Introduces Weekly Interactive Painting Classes – “CREATIONSHIPS” – Hosted in his Stockyards Art Gallery

Classes Begin April 22, Held Every Friday and Saturday Night 7P to 10P; Highlights Creativity, Promotes Art of Conversation

(April 13, 2016 – Fort Worth, TX) –  Artist Brad Jensen announces the launch of his weekly painting classes, entitled“CREATIONSHIPS”, beginning April 22 and held every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm to 10pm at his art gallery in the Fort Worth Stockyards (1545 N. Main Street, FW, TX 76164).  CREATIONSHIPS is designed to be enjoyable for both the artistic and not so artistic and will feature varying painting techniques and themes each week ranging from:  Pop culture, pop art to abstract and Jensen’s personal favorite –  his creative take on musicians, album art & band logos. “It’s rewarding to see people bond over being creative together,” says Jensen, “this is how I came up with the title of the class – it’s all about creating art and building or strengthening relationships and just having fun.  And it’s more than just an art class, it’s also about food, drinks, music and fashion.  Not to mention in this day and age of social media, it seems we’ve lost that in-person connectivity, so I also want to promote the art of conversation.”

Thus far, Brad Jensen Art has hosted several private CREATIONSHIPS classes and with the response being so positive his desire is to expand to the general public whether it be:  Date nights for couples, girls’ or guys’ night out, company team building, showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties or individuals looking to flex their creativity and make new friends.

CREATIONSHIPS is unique from other painting classes because the subject matter will always have an edge to it. Most classes revolve around a timely theme – whether it be what’s happening in the music world, pop culture or the season and classes are generally smaller groups (between 10-20) so there is more one-on-one personal attention. Music fitting the painting’s theme is also a big part of the experience and it’s all in the setting of his spectacularly creative gallery located with easy access to and from Downtown Fort Worth and the Historic Stockyards.  This gives attendees a great opportunity to spend time dining or shopping prior to the class and plenty of time to soak in Fort Worth’s nightlife afterwards.   The CREATIONSHIPS package includes light hors d’oeuvres, 1 drink ticket and participants can bring their own beverages.  All brushes, paint and canvases are provided and participants take home their own art, not to mention group photos can be shared across social networks.  Classes are for those 21 and up and need to be booked in advance via www.bradjensenart.com/events

About Brad Jensen Art:

Brad Jensen is an award-winning, self-taught artist who creates using a multitude of media from traditional canvas, leather, glass and metal, to clay sculptures and even unique treatments to guitars.  His artistic rule is – there are no rules and with every work of art something can be learned, then something truly beautiful ultimately transpires. His art is built upon a deep fascination with the correlation between art itself, pop culture, fashion, music, and how they all influence each other. He recently opened the Brad Jensen Art Gallery in 2015 near the Historic Stockyards in Fort Worth, TX (1545 N. Main St. Fort Worth, TX 76164) which is open to the public 9am-5pm Tue-Sat with “Creationships” painting classes available for bookings Friday and Saturday nights 7p-10p.
