The Irving Art Association sponsors free Open Art workshops on the first, second and fourth Friday evenings, and also on the third Sunday afternoon at its gallery. Various arts and crafts are scheduled, but it is not required to participate in the group project. Instruction and participation are free, but there may be a supplies fee for special materials. Visitors are welcome.

Paint: acrylic for the backgrounds and for making marks with also. Making marks: Bring brushes, marker, skewers, puff paint, pens, bottles with spouts, Liquid Pearls or other dimensional paint.
