Gene Dillard will be conducting a 3-day workshop starting October 14. It is another in a series to help folks who are striving for adding to their skill set in mastering portraiture. Because everyone is working at different levels, I strive to provide assistance to help you reach your next level of competency. There are universal challenges we all face and we can all benefit from concentrated instruction and focus.
The workshop will include three full days of instruction and painting from live models.
The sessions will be held in my Rail Station Studio in the downtown Plano Arts District.
The total workshop fee is $300. A refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a spot in the workshop. The balance can be paid at the beginning of the workshop. To conveniently pay online, go to http://www.dfwartworkshops.com
The workshop will focus on all the proven techniques for achieving a likeness in your portraits. That means tackling the entire spectrum of challenges…from getting proportions right to the finesse needed to render skin tones and the landscape of faces. There will be demonstrations, visual presentations and lots of hands-on, one-on-one instruction. (More details to follow. Materials list will be provided when you sign up.)
